High level committee on media suggested change Press Council’s role

The high level committee on information and communications has been suggested changing the role of Press Council Nepal.
The committee was suggested this during the discussion in the capital city Friday.
Speakers at the programme said the present categorization of media was faulty, so it needed revision. Similarly, investment on media should be transparent.
Chairman of the committee Kashiraj Dahal informed the media that suggestions were given based on the changed political setup- the federal system. RSS
